I am so glad my wife, Nina, and I chose Redstone Village for our final home after surveying all of the options in Huntsville. The building interior and exterior are tastefully decorated and well maintained. The dining room is first rate and offers a wide variety of menus to suite everyone’s tastes. The Sunday buffet is fabulous with a large selection of gourmet dishes.
The feature I liked the most , and which was the “deal closer” for me is the underground parking, something no other Life Care community in Huntsville offers. As I drive home during a rain storm, I know I can pull into my underground parking space, take a few steps to the elevator, and ride up to my third floor apartment without getting one drop of rain on me or my packages. This garage is also a tornado shelter during inclement weather. Oh yes, we have a fantastic view over the valley all day and spectacular sunsets.
Redstone Village offers a great way to pass on the 90% of your initial investment to your family. In the meantime, my wife and I live in a very comfortable apartment without worry about any maintenance problems. We have provided for our future healthcare needs with onsite Assisted Living, Memory Support, and Skilled Nursing should be ever need those levels of care.
For trouble free living now and into the future, I say come to Redstone Village.

A Sense of Liberation!
A sense of liberation – that is what I felt when I closed on the sale of my condo in Illinois! As my son drove me southward from the Chicago area, I felt free from the momentous decision of selling the place in which I had so enjoyed living, surrounded by a network of supportive friends. Getting my home on the market, dealing with home inspection issues, appraisals, and downsizing and getting rid of cherished items that I no longer needed was all behind me.
The feeling of euphoria has continued as I have settled in at Redstone Village. I believe that my decision to move here has been a wise one. I have felt so welcomed by this community. What a joy to join others around a table for dinner which includes enticing entrees that I did not have to plan or prepare! Ann array of activities for socializing and getting fit with a new aquatic and fitness center is just a few steps from my door. Our vivacious activities coordinator, Belinda Talley, plans resident outings to interesting and unusual places. The entire staff from the receptionist to maintenance to the wait staff are all very hospitable and helpful. All those nagging concerns about healthcare that confront each of us as we age have been diminished because Redstone Village has outpatient therapy as well as Assisted Living, Memory Support, and Skilled Nursing all on one campus.
I definitely made the right move and recommend finding liberation and peace of mind at Redstone Village to everyone!
Mrs. Jean Freeman
When we started getting older , my husband, Wyn, and I became concerned about all the work we were doing to maintain our home and lawn, and I was especially concerned that my husband was still getting up on the roof to clean out the gutters. I convinced him it was time to start researching retirement communities. When we visited Redstone Village, we were especially impressed with having our own balcony, underground parking as well as transportation should ever need it. In addition, protecting our assets for the future with a 90% refundable entrance fee was very important for us.
The residents are so friendly when we moved in everyone greeted us with open arms and “welcomed us to the family’”. The activities and fitness classes are great, and we love being here – we know we made the right decision!
Bill and Elinor Burleson
We became aware of Redstone Village in August 2012, when a presentation was given to the ROMEO (Retired Old Men Eating Out) group at Whitesburg Baptist Church – Bill is a member of this group. We began thinking seriously when we could no longer keep up a large home with two acres of grass, shrubs, and trees.
We made an appointment with marketing , and the apartment style of our choice suddenly became available and all our plans and desires meshed like a jigsaw puzzle – divine providence.
We are very thankful that we moved at the appropriate time to enjoy our independence to a super retirement community where all the employees and residents are extremely friendly like no other community in our area. There are plenty of activities to keep us busy. Redstone Village is an excellent place to meet and socialize with people having a myriad of interesting backgrounds.
Elinor’s statement is “ I never dreamed that I could move anywhere and feel at home, but now I feel right at home at Redstone Village”.
