A Sense of Liberation!

A sense of liberation – that is what I felt when I closed on the sale of my condo in Illinois! As my son drove me southward from the Chicago area, I felt free from the momentous decision of selling the place in which I had so enjoyed living, surrounded by a network of supportive friends. Getting my home on the market, dealing with home inspection issues, appraisals, and downsizing and getting rid of cherished items that I no longer needed was all behind me.

The feeling of euphoria has continued as I have settled in at Redstone Village. I believe that my decision to move here has been a wise one. I have felt so welcomed by this community. What a joy to join others around a table for dinner which includes enticing entrees that I did have to plan or prepare! Ann array of activities for socializing and getting fit with a new aquatic and fitness center is just a few steps from my door. Our vivacious activities coordinator, Belinda Talley, plans resident outing s to interesting and unusual places. The entire staff from the receptionist to maintenance to the wait staff has all be very hospitable and helpful. All those nagging concerns about healthcare that confront each of us as we age have been diminished because Redstone Village has outpatient therapy as well as Assisted Living, memory Support, and Skilled Nursing all on one campus.

I definitely made the right move and recommend finding liberation and peace of mind at Redstone Village to everyone!
